Kendall Goodwin, a 6th Grader at Elberta Elementary School, was surprised at a special assembly where she learned that she had been selected as Alabama's winning artist in the Google 4 Doodle competition.  There were 200,000 entries in the contest, with a winner chosen from each state.  Kendall is now entered in the national competition, with votes for that winner being accepted soon. The theme for the contest this year was "What Inspires Me."  According to the Doodle4Google contest website, online public voting will last for a period of 10 days, from May 7, 2018, 2018 9:00 am PST to May 18, 2018, 12:00 am PST.

Be sure to log in during this timeframe to vote for Kendall's Doodle!
